Seven things about a man too great for TV, and ultimately, life.

1. He didn't feel the need to please anyone.
2. He spoke the truth and left those not impressed or enlightened to wallow in the wake of it.
3. He looked kind of like my grandpa sometimes.
4. He had an awesome beard.
5. "If someone with multiple personalities threatens to kill himself, is it considered a hostage situation?"
6. He was born the same year my great aunt ruth was.
7. He got to live a full life, get married, have a child and outlast a lot of greats doing just as much drugs and good comedy as he did.


I love you, George Carlin, and I will miss you so much.
